I enjoyed staying at the hotel, very comfortable.
The room I ended up in was small, scruffy and impractical. I had to put a chair that was at the end of the bed in the wardrobe just so I could walk around the bed! The shower spat black gunge out each morning when I started it. The basin was cracked, paintwork worn and missing and the light-switch dangerously missing a section. Polite requests to staff for a call from the manager to discuss these issues was not followed up. I've had successful stays at this hotel and do prefer this location but after this last stay ... never again!
Closeness to Darling Harbour and Entertainment Centre
Friendly and very helpful staff, service. Responsive. It was a convenient location from/to airport and then quick access to City
The shower area can be improved as water is not contained in shower space and wider floor space gets wet- and can be dangerous and inconvenient with very wet floors
Clean, quiet, close to Central Station, excellent value for money
The cafe within. The male who ran the cafe was wonderful. Also the value for money and the service was perfect.
The rooms were tiny - the pictures online were decieving.
The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to downtown and many tourist attractions. The staff, for the most part, were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The room was a little small with a closet but no drawers, making it difficult to unpack.
the staff was really nice especially the desk clerk
way too far to walk to room 211 for my mum who is on canadian crutches
welcoming, helpful and informative staff; cleanliness of room, spacious room, proximity to CBD, public transport, charm of building
I really liked the location of the hotel- it was close to Sydney Uni, which is why I was there, and also close to Chinatown. The staff was very nice, and even though I arrived past 11 at night, greeted me very warmly
There were ants and mosquitos in our room.
Rooms were nicely decorated and neat.
There are rooms facing the courtyard, and drunk people wanting to have a smoke in the middle of the night are going to wake you up in you're in one of those rooms.
Small basic rooms, friendly staff, good value within close walking distance to Central station and uts, which was all I required as visiting uts. Private small bathroom.
Rubish was not emptied before entering the room from previous guest although rest of the room had been cleaned properly.Leisure travelers may prefer something closer to the centre but only a 10 minute walk to China town. Noise could be a problem for some light sleepers if room is on Wattle street side.
Really enjoyed our stay friendly helful staff and we liked that the place was boutique and kwirky. Great Breakfast value with the best coffee ever and the Man serving us (i think he was french was awesome)
The room was pleasant and comfortable; the staff helpful and efficient; the breakfast delicious and beautifully presented.
no lift, i need carry my baggage from 3rd floor to the ground floor when I checked out. The wifi service provided in the hotel were not stable, it was on and off all the time.
